I attended the SoCal Farms’ ribbon-cutting ceremony last month organized by the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce. Led by a coalition of large-scale agriculture experts and industry leaders, the 100-acre farm is the testbed for hemp cultivation in Southern California's high desert. The company is the first hemp farm to have approval from the Los Angeles County Agriculture Commissioner to cultivate hemp in the area. ![]() SoCal Farms plans to scale to provide the market with an abundance of that affordable ingredient.
